Bloom Add-On Freebie!

Quick, huh?! Here's the NEW Bloom Add-On Mini Kit Freebie. It has 3 full sets of digital photo corners in pink, green & yellow. I kept them simple; you may distress them if you prefer. I also had some fun creating a floral brush that would be beautiful stamped lightly behind journaling, or accenting a photo or two. Finally, I created a puffy sticker using the photo I took of my flowers (the same one I used to create the brush). Experimenting (and often doing things the longest way possible!) is how I learn. If you ever have a suggestion or helpful hint, please Email me; I'd love to hear from you.

Welcome!

Yay! People are finding my blog. Thank you everyone for spreading the word. Okay, down to business... New freebie! I mentioned earlier that these papers ( Peach Butter Floral Paper Pack Freebie ) recolor beautifully. I love aqua and purple; these would be great for spring occasions ( Easter! ). You can recolor any of the Peach Butter collection by making adjustments in the hue and saturation. In PSE4, you click the drop down menu for Settings, and click on Adjust Color, and then Hue and Saturation. At this point you simply adjust the sliders until you get a pleasing result; I used +180, -35, +5, read from top to bottom.

Next, I have a Freebie Quik Page I scrapped (using the Peach Butter Mini Page Kit!). I had designed it in memory of my Angel and decided I had to share. (My personal scrap page is accented with a staple from Pattie Knox's fabulous Staple Its No.2 found at DesignerDigitals.com).

My Personal Scrap page:

Journal entry reads, "In 2006, I spent a lot of time nurturing our gardens. You weren't overly interested in the flowers, but, you loved digging for worms! I think of You every time I see these lilies. I miss you."

And, here's the Freebie Quik Page:
